Kawasaki
Kawasaki Motors traces its motorcycle origins to the early 1960s as part of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, a company founded in 1896 with deep roots in shipbuilding, rail, and aircraft engineering. Applying that heavy-industry expertise to two wheels, Kawasaki released its first motorcycles in 1961 and quickly became known for powerful, technologically advanced machines. The brand cemented its reputation in the late 1960s and 1970s with high-performance two-stroke and four-cylinder models that pushed speed and engineering boundaries. From the outset, Kawasaki’s motorcycle identity has been defined by performance, innovation, and an unapologetically aggressive engineering philosophy.
