Ducati
Ducati traces its origins to 1926 in Bologna, Italy, when Antonio Cavalieri Ducati founded Società Scientifica Radio Brevetti Ducati, initially producing radio components and electrical equipment. After World War II, the company shifted toward motorized transportation, releasing its first motorcycle engine—the Cucciolo—in 1946. Ducati soon became known for lightweight, high-performance motorcycles, and under engineer Fabio Taglioni, pioneered signature technologies such as desmodromic valve actuation and L-twin engines. With deep roots in racing and Italian design, Ducati evolved into a global performance brand synonymous with speed, innovation, and motorsport heritage.
